Digital content start-up launches out of beta, straight into the app market

Over 20,000 titles already using multi-device compatible technology to reach niche audiences

Burbank, California: Today, dotstudioPRO announced it has launched out of beta and directly into the rapidly expanding app market to further serve its content creators.

Advancing along with their well-established web-based platform technology, the company has now delivered specialized apps for clients as diverse as Fubu TV (iOS, Android, AppleTV), Film Festival Flix (Roku), Behind the Velvet Rope (AppleTV) and mySpotlightTV (iOS, Android, AppleTV).

Inspired by the rapid growth in the multiple channel network market to deliver original content across a variety of platforms, the start-up recognizes the potential of apps for their growing client base.

“We’ve been guided by our clients from day one,” said CEO/CTO Joe Pascual. “It’s for film-makers that we were originally inspired to create our platform and now it’s for our content network partners that we are hearing their needs and evolving with them.”

Recently selected by EvoNexus, an incubator for the best in Southern California’s start-ups, and recognized earlier this year by Canada’s Playback Magazine as an Innovator to Watch, the Canadian-U.S. technology company has established itself as an integral part of the content distribution and syndication marketplace.

The company also just added a WordPress plugin allowing the popular blogging sphere to allow its customers an easy way to build stylized screening rooms into their websites.

The dotstudioPRO technology enables content owners large and still growing to effortlessly build a content distribution path across multiple devises from one dashboard. By removing content gatekeepers and cost-prohibitive technology, dotstudioPRO levels the playing field, empowering business owners to build their video content brand, please their audience and grow their empire. The dotstudioPRO technology lets content owners build their own VOD and AVOD environment and publish content to their own websites, Facebook page and OTT.

Currently, the startup is servicing the distribution support needs of just over 20,000 original titles online and is working with 10 Network Partners to expand their brands via content syndication.

The startup was founded by Pascual, Phoenix Gonzalez (COO) and their Canadian partner, CFO Selena Paskalidis. The latter two executives recently presented at the LITCollegeTour at Silicon Beach in Santa Monica and Vancouver Web Fest in Vancouver, B.C., Canada.
